Not currently but hopefully more to do with my current bad case of CBA rather than the bike itself Andy
The worst thing about buying a bike is knowing what you might have to go through when you sell it. Unfortunately im pretty blunt nowadays . If people ask questions about things pointed out in the advert then i just ignore them. If they cant read the ad then why should i bother ?
You need to find a nice helpful retired guy who will sell a bike for you for a curry (even though said person has not received said curry as yet)
Which reminds me, @Expat Jack , when can you collect the washer/dryer and eBay it up for me? You'll get poppadums!
I always end up doing a PX. might lose a few quid more but for the less hassle of dealing with the mongs of the world i am happy to take the loss. i like the R1 , mate has bought a 22 GYTR one.
Jerez is a phenomenal track, it's just incredible, my mate doesn't think so but he decided to go full rocket man over the front of his Daytona onto the back straight...
How did he manage that? Back straight? Is that the one where you use the gantry as a brake marker? I was just getting the hang of it but it was time to pack up. Drat….
He went into the corner onto the back straight a bit deep, turned it right on the edge of the tire and picked up the throttle as hard, but obv at that point the rear decided enough was enough. It was SO hot, 35 degrees ambient and he was about 7 laps in. The issue was that he highsided, but landed on the bike and then went over the bars, at which point he was heading down the back straight, so he rolled and bounced along the tarmac, not ideal. I was sharing the bike, so that was the end of my 3 days (it was day 2 afternoon). On day 2, we had 11 crashes, included 5 at what we refer to as "f**king fast 2" the 2nd of the fast rights coming back towards the finish, they just destroyed the bikes, all of them had bent forks and snapped frames. There was only 60 riders on the trip, so I think heat played a part in the events of that day
Yeah it’s a pretty quick exit where your mate binned it… and high ambient like that reduces grip… 35 is too hot maaaan I was loving ff1 and 2, just starting to suss them out. But like I said, it was time to pack up… bugger… MotoGP boys had rolled into town and were lined along the pit wall watching us. Probably laughing their cocks off at us Went to watch them practice the next day. Impressive…
