Took the car out for a proper spank today, fuck me it’s quick. Glad I wasn’t on the bike, as had the back step out a few times. Was fun driving my usual biking roads.
Back home. Food pretty average tbh compared to the other times, and had 6 beers (bottles not pints) all night, of which 3 were at my own home! So not pissed and resisted laughing too much out loud and challenging too directly the nonsense the middle class vegan yoga loving tree hugger passively aggressively said opposite me for a few hours. Now watching the roles models of rap, with face tattoos, guns, drugs glorified in the videos on MTV.
Just the usual,…ate mostly … Lunch at a nice Italian restaurant in Redcliffe I had “ Linguine Alla Moreton” Moreton bay bugs, king prawns and a chilli cherry tomato sauce….v tasty The Ayatollah had a huge portion of really nice Lasagne.. She could only manage about a third of it,… so I finished the rest off as well …hate waste Beverage of the day was this really nice, crisp Italian lager.. Never heard of it before but I could have drank about a gallon of it,..yum Just in case anyone hasn’t seen em, this is a Moreton bay bug, uncooked.. Think Lobster without the claw’s on Yes, I know they look like something out of the film “Alien “ ..but believe me they are super tasty ! Laters people..
Less than 5 hrs sleep up for comp this morning only for fog to stop play. Could have done with staying in bed….
This morning I have been treating another leather bike jacket, my leather biking jeans, and my Held one piece in readiness for the season. I’m going to do my other/spare one piece tomorrow. I was going to do my biking boots too (3 pairs - scrambler, touring and race) but I can’t find them anywhere. I’ve searched the house high and low, twice……and searched the garage three times. Nothing! I thought I’d got all the boxes of biking kit from my friends house, leaving just the bikes there for the time being…….I’m hoping they’re still in my friends garage otherwise I’ll have to buy again
Renapur - it’s good stuff. I’ve had a tub this size for at least 15 years and there’s still a quarter of it left. And I treat all my leather biking gear (suits, pants, jackets, gloves and boots) and normal leather jackets at least once a year, if not twice.
