Anyone else using Ducati TPMS in conjunction with BST CF wheels on their PP? Been to Nelly's today and he can't get mine to register. Ducati say "There are some known issues with carbon interference, particularly with trackers etc. Similar signal masking could be the problem". Be interested to hear other owner's experiences.
Yes, it is a known issue that carbon fibre can interfere with wireless and blue tooth receivers. I would not be surprised that is your problem in this case given the thickness of the wheel structure. Carbon key covers which are only 1mm thick (if your are lucky) are known to interfere with remote key aerials and from my own experience, the Diavel. Andy
Apologies, I missed the TPMS bit, it’s been a long day. Neither of mine had it. Wheels were great though.
Phew, that’s saved me a few grand. I thought I was going to have to buy some carbon wheels to keep up with my mate Dave.
The difference on the standard 1200PP wheels was significant. Less so in comparison to the Marchesinis. I decided to stick with the standard ones on the V4PP and move my BSTs on.
