So what have you done today..?

  1. I bought two rears for my vdub in the summer, 265/18 Pirelli I think, that was less than a pair of bike slicks…

  2. Dealer £1,400, so gone against my usual action (dealer fit) and Black Circles are fitting exactly the same spec at home for £1,050.

Thanks for forcing me to think of them again. I will cry some more.

  3. That's actually not as bad as I thought they'd be tbh. Which ones did you go for? Mine came with Pirellis, but the Michelins seem to be everyones favourite.

  4. ^^^^ if you cannot take a joke don't play the game

  5. + 1 for blackcircles

Prices were good and mobile service was equally agreeable.

  6. MIchelin Pilot 4S with the BMW OEM star rating are the only tyres for the car mate.

    PS5 due out soon though...

  7. That's good to hear.

The thing about not using a dealer is when they damage a wheel - we shall see.

  8. I cleaned the house from top to bottom, went for a walk, made lunch, fell asleep. Now I’m watching Friends :)

  9. Yeah I might switch to them next, but a few have said there’s more road noise from them??

  10. That show is always funny. We’ve seen every episode about a hundred times!

  11. But, just turn your Bowers and Wilkins up :D

Waffle mate, they're a cracking tyre and last decent miles too.

BMW couldn't get a steady supply being the only reason they put Pirelli on for a stint.

  13. I liked Frankfurt spent 5 days there twice for a sporting event, lovely along the river. Stayed at the Intercontinental lovely food, didn’t eat any sausage though.

  15. Didn’t have one although got quite hooked on freshly baked Pretzels and had a glass of wine that I actually found palatable.

  16. Pretzels…. Who knew?
The wine on the other is a tricky business for sure.

  18. Oh yes, just remembered there is an Irish bar near the train station.

  19. My wife forbids me to enter such establishments saying they are patronising and full of pissed up tourists
She is of course both correct and Irish.
