Who can stop the Irish with a performance like that winning the championship this year?, the Welsh were pants. the best game so far was the second one, with the English and the jocks blow for blow. fingers crossed for a upset with the Italians beating the French tomorrow.
That game was so difficult for Les Bleus. I mean every time they tried to play, they were penalized… Refereeing was extremely harsh, imho. 18 penalties. Yellow card + penalty try? Are they this poorly disciplined ? I persally do not believe so… Not anymore. Not this crew. Galthié is utterly pissed off! On the bright side, they won outside with a bonus point, so « par » with Ireland and Scotland, if not in style. A win is a win. I think this game was the best preparation for what’s coming next Saturday in Dublin. We have an incredible game ahead.
Yep, the Italians did well against France, and the result could so easily have been the other way around. For the last few years that would have been @50 - 7 to France, and yes Expat Jack, I think the other teams need to take notice and treat them as a serious threat. They did beat Australia in the Autumn of course, so we shouldn't be too surprised. Interestingly the final score was that close that Wales are now occupying the bottom slot of the table because of the points difference Ireland had on them. It's a really good thing for the tournament, Italy, and rugby in general, as we are now back to a proper 6 nations, not 5 + 1 as in recent years.
