Blows my mind that something like that sp4 only has 5000km (alledgely) on it, how could you own something so beautiful and not use it....tossers :-/

 

I've just inspected my 94 superlight keys and they are in far better condition.

 

No doubt another fancy chef living in Pascara with a huge Italian belly, that doesn't fit around the petrol tank.

 

My engine looks like its been stored underwater! Was quoted £2.5k to pull it apart and paint properly. Think I'll wait till it needs some proper engine work and 41mm flatsides etc

 

So with the flatsides that approximately 3.5 k, it's only money, why give it to the government waste fund.

 

I'd love to get it out to about 100bhp, couldn't think of a more fun way of laundering my cash away from tax man (hookers and blow is frowned apon by the wife)

 

Anything's possible on the power front, but that sounds very ambitious..........but hey what do i know about life.

 

I've heard 100bhp mentioned, but not sure how possible that is. Got a ancient dyno printout for mine showing 80bhp at rear wheel with carbon cans, cut airbox and ducati ignitors.

 

It’s an Italian thoroughbred, when I owned a 851 I bought a Triumph as back up for when the 51 wouldn’t start. I put a lot more miles on the Speed Triple than was the case with the 51…….

 

Yeah imagine the reality is different, just seems such a shame when they aren't used as intended.

 

Nice, but if we're being pinickity, a non original seat unit and the exhaust heatshield is missing, and the numbers are laquered in so it has been painted...
