Just popped to town to get a few bits with wifey and tried Bundobust for some lunch as I'd heard good reports. It's indian street food, but didn't realise vegetarian, but once sat down, ordered and enjoyed what we had. Made it home with seconds to spare before the okra fries needed to make an urgent reappearance
I had a great long day on the bike, 168 miles including two of my favourite roads, with Irelands win yesterday and a great day on the bike, this has been a perfect weekend.
Been to IKEA and B&Q. Bought stuff I didn't go for and didn't buy stuff I went for. Also ordered a compressor from Aldi.
Walked up a mountain. Has a chicken & lemon tagine for lunch. In need of a few libations tonight. Aching like hell, so booked a massage for tomorrow.
@NZDave Sorry to hear that. Wishing you a full and speedy recovery! In the meantime, whiskey makes a good painkiller
Hope you have a swift recovery but don’t push it, a scaphoid injury needs time and I speak from experience. Andy
I've been kicking my heels today so i thought it was time to fit this replacement steering wheel, it came from the usual place ( ebay ), it was up for £25.00 including post costs etc, so i placed a cheeky bid at £20.00 & got it. It was guess work whether it would fit correctly or not, but it matches the old one, the best £20.00 i've spent this year so far.!.............the rest i have wasted.
Went to Nobu, Marrakech for drinks and appetisers. Service was shit, the rest was good though. Cracking views of the city.
Cooked bangers and mash, onion gravy, broccoli, sprouts, runner beans and carrots. Oh and cauli cheese. Bloody lovely way to finish off Sundays leftovers. Cumberlands obviously.
I’ve done a bit of DIY by building a cabinet for my utility room. I’ve also finally framed a limited edition pic I’ve had for years and hung it in the study
Mine never recovered after a track day off, eventually had it taken out. Which was interesting to watch.
After a pretty average night’s sleep, most of what I planned to do today, didn’t even get attempted. I did however get the Termignoni half system I had for sale, securely packed up ready to go down to the Post Office tomorrow. Looking forward to tomorrow evening as we are off to the Anvil for “The Story of Guitar Heroes”. Andy
Got up, had a swim. Then had a massive hotel breakfast. Made someone cry (not the wife this time). Now chilling by the pool with a few g&t’s. What a day!
