Hi folks ! No I am not pregnant, but I will soon be taking delivery of my new to me, 2014 Multistrada 1200 Really looking forward to it and can’t wait. Feeling like a kid in a sweetie shop for the first time in a long while. I haven’t had a bike for 25 years or so and my last one was a brand spanking new 916, regret selling it, but the older bones would not be able to cope with that nowadays anyway. Any tips or advice for a mid fifties, returning biker? Any comments on my choice of bike?
Greetings! You youngsters only need to remember to keep it the right way up, never ride in shorts (unless you are in Italy) and to keep the cub scout law.
I remember picking mine up in that London .....I told the sales bloke ..."I'll stick it in urban mode till I get used to the power" .......his comment "I'll give that 10 minutes" .... He was right .............
Welcome into our mad house My tip is ride it like you stole it don't forget rubbish bin pics please on your first ride out together
Welcome. Enjoy it, bl@@dy lovely bikes. PS screens: I tried every combination but found Pikes Peak screen best.
I am still waiting on delivery, and it may be a week or so yet, but after my first ride that was going to be the first question, as it comes with the stock screen. Can you mention the other screens that you tried and didn’t like as much as the Pikes Peak? It may save me a few £££££££
