First concert - Ian Dury & The Blockheads at Lewisham Odeon Last concert - Bryan Adams at the O2 Best concert - Bon Jovi, opening night of the O2 Worst concert - Madonna; utter diva. Loudest concert - Status Quo, Wembley Arena, front row right in front of the speakers Seen the most - Rod Stewart, followed by Bon Jovi, Status Quo & Bryan Adams Most surprising - Rod Stewart; would never have seen him if the good lady hadn't dragged me there the first time, real pro. The best surprise at a concert was at Wembley Arena when Bryan Adams performed "It's Only Love" & Tina Turner walked out unannounced to join him. Biggest cheer I've ever heard at a gig. Next concert - Beth Hart, then Elton John (assuming I dodge George Ezra ) Wish I could have seen - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Joe Bonamassa Tour de Force series.

Ive been to so many, this is tough. Wifey and I gig a lot. I love gigs. You want energy? Go see Idles. First concert - Not sure but The Chords/Secret Affair/Squire/Lambrettas at The Civic Orpington or could be The Troggs at Chiselhurst Caves Last concert - Idles Brixton Best concert - Wow, too many. Radiohead - Glasto, Orbital Glasto, Oasis Knebworth, The Prodigy Brixton, Idles Brixton or The Jams finals, saw twice once for free. Bjork brixton was impressive too. Martha Reeves in Yarmouth or Desmond Dekker. Oh and Edwin Starr loads of times, he was an awesome guy had a drink at bar with him after too. God rest his lovely soul. Worst concert - All of them were awesome Loudest concert - QOTSA brixton or Sabres of Paradise (forget but the bass was something else) Seen the most - Orbital, Charletons or Ride. Or Prodigy, or Leftfield or Chem bruvs or Hawkwind or System 7 or some other 80/90 dance act. Maybe even The Cult. Most surprising - Ian Dury & The Blockheads Cost a fiver to get in as we walked by and decided to go. They were effin superb early 80's. We left there totally impressed and I've been a huge fan since. Lord Sutch and his band red lion gravesend, what a tight outfit they were. He was nice to chat to too. Lovely guy. Next concert - Idles and or Orbital Wish I could have seen - The Who original line up. Dammit Keith had passed. Stone Roses, missed them at glasto but we got Pulp instead and they were superb that night.

Next; Panda Bear and Sonic Boom at Band on the Wall Followed by Fun Loving Criminals less the mighty Huey Morgan, in Berlin Then later on Gnod at some dive in Salford.
First concert: Xmas Eve 1974. Shakin Stevens and the Sunsets enthusiast the support act, The Tremblin Knees. This was when Shakey was a proper Rocker. Honest. Patti Pavilion, Swansea. Last. Ellis Costello, Royal Albert Hall. A few years back. Best. The Police. Swansea Top Rank just before Roxanne hit the charts. 1979? Worst? The Smiths just before they split. Closely followed by The Jam in Port Talbot on their farewell tour. Loudest. Mine is actually Man (like the original post). 1975. Top Rank Swansea. They were a Welsh group who included Terry Williams who went on to drum for Dire Straights amongst others. Ears were ringing for days. Seen the most. The Jam 5 times and Weller I’ve lost count as a solo artist. Most surprising . Culture Club Bournemouth 2019. Actually quite good. Next. Don’t know Wish I’d seen. The Killers in their pomp (had tickets but couldn’t go).
Queen, 1986 at Slane Castle was the first proper gig that I went to and to this day it is still the best!
1st. gig Peter Greeens Fleetwood Mac 67/68ish Best. Free/ Alexis Korner around same time Loudest. Runrig. Wish I'd seen The Beatles. had a ticket gave it to my sister. Being a teenager in the 60s, it was the time of the package tours so got to see so many top bands, Beach Boys, Ike & Tina Turner et al. Was in bands myself and were support to Bee Gees, Small Faces and Jethro Tull to name a few. I also worked with Robert Palmer for a short time.

First concert - Monsters of Rock, Donington, 1982 : Anvil, Uriah Heap, Hawkwind, Saxon, Gillan, Status Quo. Last concert - Hell's Bells (AC/DC tribute), Tavistock Wharf, last week. Best concert - Green Day, 21st century Breakdown Tour, Wembley Arena 2009 & Wembley Stadium 2010. (An honourable mention to Evanescence - Amy Lee is an incredible performer with an amazing voice). Worst concert - Van Morrison at Cornwall Coliseum - utterly abysmal... Loudest concert - AC/DC, Fly on the wall tour, Edinburgh Playhouse 1986. Motorhead run them a very close second though. Seen the most - Wishbone Ash or Fairport Convention - I've lost count of both... Most surprising - Sophie Ellis Bexter and/or Paloma Faith - both amazing performers, but in different ways. Next concert - Quo Connection (Status Quo tribute) : Tavistock Wharf, tomorrow evening. Wish I could have seen - Pink Floyd or Lynyrd Skynyrd.
