Sold my daughters car via 'Motorway' for more than I had it advertised for privately.

Aside from the b@stard annoying TV ads, it's been a doddle.

You take pics and provide details and they give you an estimate which essentially becomes a reserve price as the cars is auctioned to dealers. Mine went up at 8am Monday and was sold by about 11am.

Car's just been collected.

 

I felt like that 4 days into a week in Egypt last year, then wished I was back there as soon as we got home!

Enjoyed a great 138 miles round trip to get my new tyres fitted and spent a little time in the Joey Dunlop Memorial Garden.

 

11 hours working, long day for me, of which 7 1/2 were on teams meetings.

 

So 3 1/2 hours work then.

Part two, it was a road trip today as i won this little lot for a very strong 99 pence, the seller location was at Headley Heath, so i rocked up at Box Hill for a drink first.
Unfortunately as i set off from BH about 3/4 miles into the journey i received a bloody puncture, i said to myself don't panic darling just roll your sleeves up & do it, the bonus is that the Land Defender has a fantastic safe jacking system and continued my journey ten odd minutes later.

Got the brother-in-law and 2 kids coming to stay over on short notice as of Saturday for four nights then have my sister-in-law is staying over for two nights directly after.
After she leaves I have my dear old mums 85th party to arrange on the weekend.

This is after my daughter who’s been staying with us whilst her husband recovers from covid leaves

There was driveways at the front & rear of the vehicle so i was left facing a menacing water gully, but car keys firmly placed into the trouser pocket for safe keeping.
