hi there currently doing a bit of work for someone who owns a ss750 1993 model, and they want the wheels powder-coated . so I was wondering if anybody could help me source some bearings for both wheels or even have the dimensions of the bearings .
if you scroll down this will get you started :- http://ducatiforum.co.uk/f41/alternatives-genuine-ducati-parts-594/
Make sure you check the axle size.........you should have the 17mm one, but someone may have changed the front wheel at some stage for the larger axle version. And if the existing bearings are still handy, you should be able to get the reference number from the edge of the outer race. These is the larger axle bearing reference number... SKF 62042RSHC3 Sealed Deep Groove Ball Bearing 20x47x14mm Got them from SimplyBearings for less than £10. AL
Thanks for that al i really appreciate it , gunna have some fun of getting em out today without a bearing puller
If you look down the inside, you can see a couple of notches in one end of the bearing spacer inside..........long thin blunt drift with a slight kink on the end will have the bearings out easily.... AL
