I've always been told to keep my tools well oiled. So today I put £10 of Shells finest V-power Diesel in the V4S. It did 6.4 miles before it stopped with a little flame from the exhaust. Am I doing something wrong? Roll on electric
that’s a lot! My newly invented Monster S2R Diesel only made it about 2km until coming to a smoking halt
lol did u really? ive done it in cars, twice. no harm done apart from the engine stopping, just siphoned the diesel out and filled up with petrol, ran ok after that.
Hooray! I am not alone. I filled a week or so old 1198 with deisel. My mate was behind me when i fired it up. The smoke was unbelievable.
I think you can be forgiven going by the vehicle's title, large chance I would do the same. EDIT Sorry, I thought you meant this one.
In fact it was a regular S2R1000, I made it a Diesel model, quickly and unintentionally at a clandestine petrol station!
