  1. Thanks @RJY

    Ordered!

  2. How does this attach? There’s no way I’d rivet it, and am sure it would fall off, if held on with double sided tape, like all my others did!

  3. Comes with plastics rivets and a card with self adhesive tape (belt n braces) the tape is sufficient on its own when it’s stuck to the underside of the Carbon material.

  4. OK, it’s cheap enough to take a punt, I guess

  5. I fitted one to my 1260 and it vibrated ever so slightly against the front tyre and ruined it

  6. is there a sump bash guard on there / available from Evotech?

  7. I’m pissed with pryamid, you help em out (at my expense) and they can’t even send me a free extenda to replace the one I paid for and destroyed so they could make a mould.
I have one on my 1200 as well and yeah it would have caught the tyre so i modded the Ducati oe mudguard it attaches to so it don’t flap around.

I can confirm the pryamid version for the pp will be fine now, there first batch never fitted right due to an error in production, below is the mould attached to my pp mudguard showing how it li will fit now.

  8. @Dave Not good enough to be honest.

I still haven’t collected my PP yet but, as always, I’ve been gathering up stuff to fit. I bought the PP fender extender at the end of October. Am I correct in assuming this is the original (not fit for purpose) part and I need to get the updated one? It has the same part number on the packaging by the looks of it.

  9. I think I'll pass, in that case!

  10. Think that's one 'bolt on' I won't bolt on my V4PP

  11. Yep i didn’t with my 1260 PP and won’t with the V4 PP. Tbh I’ve had the 1260 without the extender for 3 years riding in all weathers and the Evotech guards have meant a wash down and it’s all fine.

  12. It won’t fit, it sits off the underside and does not follow the line of the pp mudguard, on pyramid site use the contact support, put fao Andy and tell him Dave sent you, they will replace it foc.

  13. I can confirm the updated version fits like a glove.

  14. Good to know and, as you suggested, I messaged Andy. New one in the post.

  15. You need some red calipers!

  16. Fitted mine yesterday. I'd like to see if fit a bit closer to the tyre, but get why they've done what they have.

I didn't use the sticky pads supplied or the rivets.

I used some 3M double sided tape, which is bloody strong, along with silicone sealant around the upper edge to seal it.

    Fingers crossed!

  19. Last bits before it’s gets a bit warmer!

Black chain, tarts handbag I know, but I like it.

Rizoma reservoirs, I bought these for the 1260 but never got round to fitting them.

Not pictured, Denali Soundbomb. Pretty much plug and play. I removed the standard bracket, put a 20deg(ish) bend in it and all bolted back together nicely. Sounds more……manly.
