@West Cork Paul, the manual states a specific make of the chain & is based on those stated linkage sizes. Other brands would not necessarily occupy the same schematics; I prefer to have a few more links & get the grinder out than have a wrong chain & no ability to move off.
Ok guys so i have fitted a RX x-ring gold chain & no new sprockets. £59.99 , sounds cheap from M&P. Fitted today & anyone going to do this job i am sure will scour Youtube for any video's on doing it . As i did. I've just done this on the Multi 1260. Bike always feels in the right gear now. Much better and smoother.
