Watched the season preview earlier , so much to look forward to. Really interested to see how McPhee and Taz get on in WSP too (and Brad ray in the euro rounds). Let’s be honest though, AB is likely to win the championship by more points than anyone else in history. He will win all three this weekend at least. The Kawasaki team boss was already returning to AB’s weight advantage in the preview show lol
In the superbike format, it is the only series to have a minimum bike weight. (The same in BSB) In my mind, once Danillo gets his head around the WSBK circuits (having raced in the States for a year) I expect to see comparisons drawn between him and Alvaro. Both accomplished riders, riding very similar bikes but with very different physiques. Rae’s complaints I find disingenuous given his history in the competition. Andy
IIRC Redding has been more vocal about combined weight. Not that it looks as though it will make much difference to his season.
Tbf have you seen his training regime and his physical structure…any thinner and they’d think he;d escaped from some kind of Japanese POW camp
That super sport race was bonkers absolutely brilliant entertainment and fkn hell JOHN MCPHEEEEEE!!!!!
I believe it’s because he sees Bautista’s diminutive stature as an unfair advantage to other (bigger) riders.
Bautista will be hard to beat again this year and a solid performance by Petrucci in his first race and I definitely believe he'll be strong podium contender before the season is over.
Because even at his lean weight he is still 20 kilos heavier, probably. But he is like a foot taller!
Taz has surely been sold a dummy with that team though? How are they going to be able to get the bike homologated? Can’t just put it for sale in Europe when it doesn’t meet any emissions regulations
I’ve no idea. Tbh you can’t buy the r6 for road anymore. And the zx6 being used is the 600 not the 636 which you can’t get either
