Early morning trip to the local domestic recycling centre. Once upon a time, it was called the dump. How things change over time Andy
Ugly strada:- Just goo-ed crankcase cap on, will wait until morning to fully tighten - engine running tomorrow unless low temp has destroyed dashboard (couldn't b rsd to take it off last spell)
Contacted my MP about the wankers at DVLA and their laziness of wfh meaning no phone calls are being accepted (and haven’t been for the 10 weeks I’ve been trying to call them!) Sure she won’t/can’t do anything but at this stage it’s try everything or head down to Swansea and set the bastard building in fire!! Note; I wont actually set it on fire, I’m not a maniac, just in case the govt bots are looking
Don't worry bradders, I’ll leave the necessary in the usual place. Just in case they stop you on the way down
Absolutely everything that this government has any impact on is completely f***ed. NHS, (doctors and nurses, ambulance and care system), education,( primary secondary and university), water supplies and sewage, energy (high prices 47c /KW hour compared to EU norm of 29c/KW hour for consumers, record profits for the energy majors), Civil service (on strike and half their workers relying on food banks), Fire Service, justice system, asylum system, tax system (highest growth in inequality since records began and highest fall in living standards for 99% of the population since Napoleonic times), benefits system (more food banks across the country than McDonalds outlets), rail system (services in the North completely unsustainable). Lowest projected growth in G20 except for Russia. Food shortages in supermarkets. Farmers and fishermen facing bankruptcy. Housing, completely missed targets for new builds, therefore rental sector charging inflated prices for dilapidated and dangerous properties. Grenfell Tower recommendations not dealt with so thousands in limbo re cladding renewal. Gerrymandering of electoral system - Voter ID not allowing younger voters (unlikely to vote conservative) easy access to legitimate forms of ID Changing rules over voting for local Mayors to benefit Tory candidates Boundary changes Bonfire of EU legislation meaning that 50 years worth of environmental, employee protection, safety and food standards legislation which the UK has influenced and agreed to will be deleted without any certainty about what replaces it (subject to ministerial edict). I could go on for pages but rant over
Went to York (well, yesterday) and tried to be cultural but the cathedral was £16 each to get in, so spent the thirty quid on ale instead and looked at it through the pub window.
