Wtf happened there?! Saint top 3, Bristol just off the bottom and gave the, a real thumping! Did saints field the 3rd team or something?!
A few key players have not returned from the England camp, but there should be no excuses. With the Bristol's rockstars backline firing on all four they should be in the top four in my opinion.
They serve half their time due to showing to the parole board they’ve been rehabilitated, meaning they don’t serve the full tariff. I’m sure there are examples of killers serving a full tariff or as is the case for Branson having it extended. As for the Bulger killers there was a court order prohibiting revealing their new identities etc, those that break those conditions would be prosecuted for it.
Inside our Autistic minds With Chris packham It's two episodes and based around 4 individual people with different difficulties of Autism, From experience everyone should watch it to understand.
Another round of The Gold Brinks Matt, plus earlier a girly movie with the Devil Wears Prada with Anne Hathaway keeping me onboard.
There appears to be something not quite right with that dress in the pic, can’t quite put my hand on it ?
In an unusual move I think I’ll watch Match of the Day later on I’ve read they intend to use the medium on mime to communicate todays fixtures Should be fun.
I really want to respond to the Linekergate thing , but i feel they'll lock me back up again in that padded cell without a TV for the six nations..
But is a player bigger than the government controlled mouthpiece that is this countries fine and upstanding BBC We shall see.
The thing I find disgraceful about the Lineker palaver is that on the BBC it takes a football commentator to express what all political journalists working at the BBC should have been saying since the moment the Home secretary spoke about the Bill in parliament. The invasion of 100m (even billions) is inflammatory language, the bill on its face says she cannot guarantee that it will comply with ECHR (a document which came into force very much at the instigation of that well known lefty Winston Churchill), constantly referring to them as "illegals" when the International convention on refugees (which we also had a strong part in drafting and signed) states specifically that the method of arrival does not make them ineligible for refugee status, even the slogan "Stop the Boats" is dehumanising language. The Nazis dehumanised the Jews before the final solution. The bill appeals to their racist base and, they think, to those red wall voters who voted Brexit, it seeks to deflect the voters from the issues which fundamentally the Tories have failed on, the economy, the rising inequality in our society, the NHS, the breakdown of the care system, the foodbanks, the water pollution, the unpunished corruption at the heart of government, the catastrophic management so far of the immigration issues (43 initiatives since 2018 none of which has worked). etc etc by stirring up racial hatred. The reason the right wing media has gone all apoplectic is because Mr Lineker was telling the truth,
Sorry expired but in no way possible is there any equivalence between what U.K. gov it doing and the genocide of Nazi Germany. Covid deniers….brexitards… saying those who are not jabbed should be shamed and excluded from society…. This kind of language is used by all political movements as a means to undermine the alternative views and bolster their own. It’s not nice. It’s not new. But it’s not rounding up and murdering Syrians becaue they came over the channel!
The bill as currently written permits, imprisonment without trial or representation, forced deportation to a "safe" third country -"no ifs no buts" SB's words, cuts across their own anti slavery legislation so a woman trafficked for the sex trade will be sent back to her oppressors, Sir Mo Farrah would not be in the UK under this legislation. The UN has denounced it as a contravention of the refugee convention and would put us in the same club as Russia and North Korea The EU has the right to impose sanctions on countries that do not comply with the ECHR. That will end well for the UK. I think that a government that fails to abide by treaties it has signed is abhorrent and would not be trusted by any future trading partner. Who in their right minds deals with people that break their word?
