I spoke to him last night. after 20 years doing the WSBK and BSB he got a call just before the first round and he was told he isn't needed anymore. not even a thank you. He was really good and had the respect of the riders. He is going to be doing GP only with BT sport.

New rule re; 2 bikes, I think they said on commentary, that second bike now allowed but once switched to, they have to stay with that bike.
Didn’t hear that. Must be due to flag to flag although they also said there is a minimum in pit lane time for when they come in for change, but that may have been the 600’s
I thought Bill and Ben said that Lowes could use his second bike because the race it snapped in half was red flagged and was restarted 'normally', ie pit crew allowed on grid etc. Spare bike not allowed in the second red flagged race as race was restarted using quick start procedure. Toseland said they would check the rules and confirm but don't recall any further confirmation. Difficult to understand what Haynes said, especially when on to his second bottle of helium, but I think he may have mentioned Jonathan Rae was a six times world champion. Could have misheard that though.....
Yes I got they said it was a new race so Lowes could start, otherwise he count as he'd actually crashed, but not the second bike thing. Did you know, Rea is super brave in his overtakes? And he has the slowest bike on the grid? And worst bike for tyre management? Meanwhile, Ducati have the fastest, best handling, most easy bikes on tyres that are super easy to ride fast... and no one outbreaks Toprak. Until they do, like Bassini and Rinaldi did...
Yeah, I think it's obvious that Yamaha have moved some weight backwards this year as Toprak isn't able to brake as hard as he did, I think the coverage in general is just crap.. I was timing the advert breaks though, roughly 6-7 mins every time, and just drivel, I have to record it all and skip through

proof that you can't keep everyone happy all of the time. I absolutely HATED Charlie, could not stand his daily mail shock and awe type questioning, it was just cringe to listen to. But I have my own opinion and it's not him as a person obv, I quite obv haven't met him.
