Awesome! What's the story behind it? I followed the link to YT but there isn't any info. I bet it's a pig to drive because judging by what I've seen on Top Gear and similar, F1 cars aren't at all happy unless they're being driven balls out in order to get the aero working and plenty of heat into the tyres and brakes.
Awful to drive on the road I’d imagine for the stuff mentioned above. I had a 1098R and found that an awful road bike…. Chain slap on roundabouts, heavy clutch and hot when poncing about in traffic. But on a fast A road or race track- fabulous!
Modern F1 cars also need their coolant and oil pre heated with external heaters to working temperature before starting the engine. The tolerances at ambient temperatures are so close that the engine would sieze. So unless you have an army of pit mechanics, it is not a practical proposition to just get in and drive on the road.
