Yes, was it you that owned it.?, i'm not a member but i do look on the odd occasion what's for sale in their marketplace.
It's not quite the same really, as i can't ride a wall tile can i. Speaking about ceramic tile, a couple of people i know have Brian Jones swimming pool tiles from his old property in Hartfield, Lol.
I don't think it was listed for that long as i'd LOOK in a week odd ago, but at that price i'm not surprised it went like hot cakes.
Been pondering getting a little runner for the summer. Does anyone know how easy/costly it is to get rid of the stooopid plate hanger on the rear wheel, for an under seat version?
It looks pretty straight forward to me TBH, depends how ham fisted your are or not. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/mo...zh2GdIDKpqTEq_JAChg3hEPCwe1CLJ0gaAnFpEALw_wcB https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324849198610?_ul=UK&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338703918&toolid=20006&customid=s%3AGS%3Bgc%3ACj0KCQiAgaGgBhC8ARIsAAAyLfHnN2mOtnlK46quWoL2ZRGpbTlW5j8ikqAXT8-p2lXj0ZVrRu36Qd4aAuaiEALw_wcB%3Bpt%3A1%3Bchoc%3A2&customid=s:GS;gc:Cj0KCQiAgaGgBhC8ARIsAAAyLfHnN2mOtnlK46quWoL2ZRGpbTlW5j8ikqAXT8-p2lXj0ZVrRu36Qd4aAuaiEALw_wcB;pt:1;choc:1
Been looking for one of these for a while now but prices are still going North. This hasn’t the full bodywork which must be super tough to obtain. These IMO are better looking than the 916 clone Cagiva, the search continues. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/32555649...fYynzDqjbOV3/3pdAsjK+IRD0=|tkp:Bk9SR9rp-6fYYQ
agree, if you're going to buy one, that does look good. Might struggle to get that front caliper off though. Also makes you wonder why it needed paint at such a low mileage but could have been paint pigmentation as it's red. I had a first gen (red) one that ended up all orange..
Who knows WHY people do these things, but you could be right on the coachworks fading, as for the moveability on the front brake caliper, it does look the same space as a 748 / 998 model bike.

Do people think this is a fair price? 2018 Ducati Scrambler 800 Cafe Racer ABS 803cc for sale for £8,995 in Wimborne, Dorset (autotrader.co.uk)
I suspect Chris's comments on the front calliper relate to the condition of the fasteners! Presume the calliper needs to come off to remove the wheel, so as it's just had new tyres then the calliper mounting bolt(s) weren't replaced at that time, and the condition of the end of the front wheel spindle also suggests an interesting maintenance regime... Still a lovely looking thing though!
The Scrambler market seems to be holding very strong residuals. I’ve seen 2016 803 Icons selling for similar money I paid in 2018. IMO opinion and I know at least one forum member will disagree (@El Toro ) I found the 1100cc engine to be a disappointment and still much prefer the 803cc engine. Don't expect gobs of power and torque but keep the revs up and stir the box and you’ll find a very entertaining ride. The seat is carved from a telegraph pole and the suspension is …… basic but still a hoot. A better rear shock is definitely a good investment. Andy
I thought they're a little off colour but would turn with no issues once you'd your spinach morning cocktail.
