1199 1199 Screen Change

  1. Different part numbers, but might fit. I wonder if anyone else knows?

  2. As above, glue them on. The screen won't crack as a result. My old screen lasted years before I busted it another way. New screen fitted the other day in about 2 minutes once the glue on the well nuts had dried solid. 20230108_122445.jpg

  3. The Panigale R is based on the 1299 so the fairings, brackets and mirrors are 1299 - the 1199 mirrors are not compatible unfortunately given that the 1299 ones break if you as much as brush against them.

  4. It is an 1199 s

  5. Not as far as I understand. I think it’s the 1199. Most of the 1299 parts don’t transfer. The R mirrors also break if ‘nudged’

  6. The 2013 1199 Panigale R was the contiguous model with the 1199.

The 2015 Panigale R was contiguous with the 1299.

The part number for the Panigale R mirrors is the same as the part number for the 959/1299 standard mirrors - they are the same as are the shape of the fairings.

It’s the equivalent of the current V4R being based on the standard V4 but has the premium parts and Homologated engine size.

  7. Thanks for this.
