Did exactly the same - traded my 2016 M1200R for SFV4S last Autumn. And I too had a 1098SF that I loved. I sold it for a Tuono and regretted doing so after the fact.
Had mine for just over 4 years, can't bear to part with it. I just like an angry bike, I hope you don't regret selling it and enjoy your street fighter. Your monster looks the dogs danglies.
I have a 16 Monster 1200R as well but am very concerned about parting with it. It's the best iteration and the last of the breed. Then there's the upgrades I'm leaving behind and the new mods required on whatever bike it's replaced with .
True that! 100 HP is more than enough for the street. We've (M1200R), have 140 RWHP which can easily get us into trouble. Doesn't seem that long ago when Wes Cooley won the Superbike championship with 135 RWHP.
