  3. Warner Brothers through their Discovery brand. They’ll be merging Eurosport and BT sport under the brand TNT this summer. Andy

  6. Look forward to more of that worldwide phenomenon American football and baseball

  7. More concerned about how they are going to package the various sports and the pricing structure. I currently get MotoGP on the BT Sport app and I have just been given access to the Discovery + app which gives me Eurosport 1 & 2 and Eurosport catch up. Okay, I can only watch on my iPad in the UK but they come free with my broadband package. Andy

  8. More streaming if its Discovery plus

We get absolutely fucked up the arse watching sport in this country. Cant even watch our own national game on a saturday 3pm when the rest of the world can pick what match they want to see.

    Greedy fucks everywhere.

  9. Which both make the front page of BBC Sport while we have to go looking for (sparse) updates on bike racing!

  10. Just been catching up on some of the post round two reporting of the races on the World SBK website. Despite Lowes remonstrations and post race interview threats, I read Race Direction hold him fully responsible for the collision that took Danillo and Loris Baz out. Still not got to the bottom of this 2 bike thing nor why Lowes was allowed to restart. His (wrecked) bike certainly didn't make it back to the pits within the time limit. No updates on Loris either, sounds like an horrendous mess of his ankle and lower leg and I don’t expect to see him at Assen, more like Misano or Silverstone. Andy

  11. That was a joke petrucci should never have dropped a place in r2. Lowes head has gone and we’re not even in April yet.

  12. see post #32

  13. Re starting without getting bike back, I heard them say that was because it was a brand new race so all could restart. Seems an odd rule though, given his crash was the reason for the stoppage.

  14. Had a quick google and found all the regs. https://www.fim-moto.com/fileadmin/user_upload/Documents/2023/2023_SBK_SS_SS300_World_Championships_Regulations.pdf?t=1676942487

ssentially, if less than 3 laps all can compete again and repairs to bikes allowed. Original race null. If can’t be restarted then no points, race cancelled.
If over 3 laps complete, 5 mins to get back to puts, can repair, grid as at end of last complete lap.

    1.26 and 1.27 cover this.

2.4.1 now allows for a complete spare bike, either for rider or to be shared in a tea, between riders.

  15. Paragraph 2.4.10, thank you for that. I did scan the regs but it just goes on and on and even I got bored :joy: Now explained but still very convoluted. Interesting that Kawasaki got the ‘spare’ bike authorised by FIM that quickly to get on the grid for the restart and they were lucky the race was stopped on lap 2 and a new race declared. Andy

  16. I thought that. Especially as it seems you can’t do ahead of time: only one engine number is permissible in use at one time.

Although there was 20 min maybe?? Between red flag and open pit lane.
