1200 S Touring as Snells had a stock bike, just low seat and rest standard (note to self this is not a bike to bling!) Got great deal and service as always, and then onto insure it....wtf Bennets couldn't touch it?! Have had to cancel my policy, 2 months left to run, and take new policy out. But not with them at nearly £500 I wont! More than twice the cost of my 848?! So Meerkat come good and back to under £200 again. Pick up Sat...
And DR is taller ;-) but search on for a track bike, will be IL4 but at least one in the garage will be Ducati still
After years of Fz1s, R6s, R1s, GSXRs etc, I took the plunge this year with a Multi as well. Should have done it years ago. Re; Bennets I had the same problem years ago when changing from R6 to R1, in fact they would not insure me. So would never touch them again since as I was mid term on the policy and it caused more hassle than necessary. Enjoy the ride
Well done bradders. I pondered for weeks about a Multi, but haven't regretted it one little bit! Be good to know how you get on with the lower seat. Still contemplating that one.
I had the same insurance issue but with Swinton! 2 months left on the policy, but they couldn't insure the ST. I would have to take out a complete new policy at £250 compared to the £100 I got it for through Bennetts! Renewed this year for £95 again through Bennetts, so far they've been fine with me, wouldnt touch Swinton again as have heard that what they did to me is common practice for them, and now it seems Bennetts are playing the same game!
