A very good point, maybe I should buy it anyway No worries. I don't want anyone to get caught out, though realistically I guess most people on here will know what to look for anyway. I only knew what to look for by reading the Ducati forums myself, so it only seemed fair to join up after lurking here for years. I have come close to buying a Ducati on so many occasions....one day I'll finally get one . Last year when this purchase fell through I spent the money on some carbon wheels for my other bike instead
But it does come with a Moto 2 sticker, i thought it would have had a wipe over before posting photo's.
Now looking more closely at the listing, it needs more than a wipe over. The seat unit is scuffed to buggery. One of the IAM RS observers at the club I ride with, has two (in road legal trim), although I’m not sure why. Not an ideal bike to observe on Andy
Exactly, i was in a showroom today, it acted as a reminder that i too have motorcycles as well. Life's all about Bologna bullets.
As the bike now appears to have sold, and for the absence of any doubt, I find it chilling that someone would knowingly sell a bike with this kind of potentially lethal defect to another person and deliberately hide said defect in their advert. Here is a photo I took on the day I was supposed to collect the bike last year. Can you believe the seller actually appeared somewhat angry with me when I pulled out of the purchase, even though I was the one out of pocket? If the new owner finds this post, I have saved the eBay listing and my eBay messages with the seller and I am happy to be a witness in any legal proceedings. I also have screenshots of the HPI check with the reg. number. I would really like to let the new owner know about the problem with their new bike, just in case they are blissfully unaware. Anybody got any ideas?
Hopefully he has some grey matter and will joy this forum in due course, you can then guide him in the right direction.!
Think this is a common fault (not checked mine for a while! ) don't think I've ever heard of a total failure. Hopefully new owner is aware or discoverers quickly

The Bike Specialist guy gets it wrong with his claim that Foggy won his first ever championship on the 888? Although he did compete on an 888 for after his first season with Moto Cinelli he didn’t win the title until he rode the factory 916?
TT2 Replica, looks very presentable. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/39450385...vFgXXZ95OM+VvnGGL/1c+S2g==|tkp:Bk9SR_jg2pfdYQ
