(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

Bought another rear bag to go with the two perfectly good ones I already have.

Test packed each one, unpacked each one, still can't decide which one to take on the Euro trip.

God, I hate my dithering.

 

….and amazingly the lights all now work

 

Sweat over for this week, as i've been wondering if these items would ever turn up again, i was searching everywhere for them and finally they're stored at another property.

 

Got a few Sainsburys bags knocking about if you need more bud.

 

That's the problem with plastic bags, as you don't know what the content is until you stick your head in.

 

.......and perhaps plastic boxes as opposed to cardboard, so that you can see the goods on display.

The problem isn’t the bag, user error for not marking the contents……

 

996r....the original clutch, basket / cover in the orange bag, and the ford RS2000 wheel center caps...........worth a tidy sum.
2 x brass mirror bolts, 1 x FAR mirror, 1 x nylon seat fixing with rubber boot, plus the fairing fixings.

 

I've a good memory for bits & pieces, but my life has been turned upside down in the past 15 months with the different storage locations.

 

Oh the perils of being a property tycoon XH, luckily having just the one shed keeps things easier to find.

Had a think about what I need to do with the bikes.

monster - change battery, get rid of the engine light and flash ecu - hoping a mate can help with ducatidiag thingy, sort number plate light….
Panigale- give it a good clean!, exhaust is minging! Head fairing off and refitted and rest of bodywork, few new parts to go on - race fuel cap, rearsets, switch wheels to lightweight ones with super Rosa tyres and race bodywork but that will happen after mot and I’ve ridden it a bit before May trackday.

Build up to getting a life back sometime soon….



Then I move of to getting the mini soft top sorted to sell, few little jobs I need a specialist to do in the Porsche to make me comfortable to use as my every day car, tow bar for the barn door mini and get my trailer back ready to use checking wheel bearing and maybe luck of paint as it’s been sat outside in the rain for 6 years…

 

A nice weekend work list to do there, Paul!
