  5. What is an 899 Panigale R?
    Is that a thing??
    899 great bike.
Pani R. One of the very best.
899 Pani R. Future classic, investment opportunity pile of pretentious shit.

  6. Even for me, stickers are easy to remove :)

There was a lad on the 675 forum built an “RS”. I suspect this is along a similar vein.

  7. It’s not so much the stickers. More that the stealer was marking it as an 899 Panigale R.

  8. He also mentions it’s a v2 so I think we can assume it’s a typo or c&p job from somewhere.

The bones of the bike are there and good value though (assuming no issues) when you compare to other bikes on the market.
    Termi
    Sssa
    Big service completed

All for less than a bog standard 899 with >10k otc

Just needed to be red :)

  15. Hazard of buying bikes when the mileage gets close to a major service, for sure I wouldn’t take on face value what the selling dealer says will be done by their in house mechanic. At least he admitted he wouldn’t though.

  16. Point is it becomes a 12 grand 899 by the time you've had it delivered and serviced and thats not something im bending over for.

  17. I thought they were twats when I spoke to them also mate, absolute dicks. Those that will have half an idea about FSA regs will know why what he sent me on text was so bad…. Context is I said I’d have to have a think as their finance rate was 13-15% and that’s a lot of interest….

He said “doesn’t matter what the interest rate is though, it’s what you pay a month that matters isn’t it?”.

I shut the conversation down after that…
