Ewan Mcgregor in the movie Son Of A Gun/ 2014 last night, it was an ok movie and killed sometime for me.
Willys Wonderland. Nicolas Cage movie on Netflix. It’s soooo bad it’s hilarious. Seriously, you wonder wtf you are watching for pretty much the whole 85 minutes of the movie and why you can’t stop watching! Comic horror.
The Bombardment - Netflix - Danish subtitled film about the air attack on the Shell building in Copenhagen in 1945. 7/10 quite compelling but slightly flawed
Daisy Jones & the Six In 1977, Daisy Jones & The Six were on top of the world; the band had risen from obscurity to fame, and then, after a sold-out show at Chicago's Soldier Field, they called it quits; now, decades later, the band members agree to reveal the truth. Not too cheesy and worth a peep.
CODA (child of deaf adults) on Apple TV. Just flicking through options, both on the couch with hangovers and wifey selected it then non stop sobbed. It's a great watch if you fancy a cuddle. It's a feel good type watch any member of the family can enjoy.
Just stuck on a Town Called Malice. Within 5 minutes Paul Weller makes an a[pea ram e just as the jam are playing on the jukebox, young lads are doing the knives between fingers game and it’s kicking off. Reminding me of my childhood so far!
The sinking of the MS Herald of Free Enterprise back in 1987 with over 190 lives lost, my thoughts are you don't set off down the road with your car or boot doors open do you, so what's the difference, surely it was always the captains responsibility before he sets sale regardless of staff falling a sleep or not.
It is done by the same guy who did football factory and the Sweeney….. only criticism so far is the language is a bit modern: eg use pussy and not fanny: in the 80’s a pussy was someone who was scared. And c*nt - wasn’t used much and the female lead used it three times in episode 1
And he did the business. In fact I think they've used the same wardrobe with all those fila tracksuits
Chris Rock Netflix comedy special. Some bits are very funny, others aren’t. It’s like 15 minutes of material stretched over 60 minutes. His bit about victim culture is particularly funny…
