Anyone else have issues with rubbing on that coolant hose? Anything I can do about it other than move my foot ...
I had the same problem on my DVT, and this is my solution. It's an exhaust guard from, I think, at 748 or similar, and modified to suit the space. A couple of clamps meant for mounting stuff on handlebars and it works a treat.
Not sure if you can easily retrofit the plastic cover from the 1260? I believe this was only added for sound attenuation purposes but should also help your chaffing problem. There is foam on the back side of this cover which was a poor decision on Ducati's part as it retains water and encourages the paint to fail with corrosion to follow. Worth removing the foam. The likes of Rizzoma make fancy CNC machined versions, though those have less coverage IIRC.
It is indeed, can't fault it to be fair. About the best option because of the short shift rod so choices are limited..
Did you install it by yourself? do you have any clue what is needed to be removed from bike to be installed?
I did. Its the easiest install I've done, used them for years (hm quickshifter being my firm go to)... by comparison though I can't fault this, no searching for wires all over the loom etc. Fit and route the quickshifter then lift the tank and plug into one of the three wire blocks on the left side... thats is, setup is done via setup wizard on a phone app, took me a day out to fine tune the settings but been faultless since.
