Yes it’s one long corner really and way more s-Wed can be carried in than you think…then suddenly it’s gravel!
Half way though a session and getting brave on the brakes, start racing with someone else and hooning up the start/finish straight bit late on the brakes but tipping in anyway but run wide and good old target fixation steps in, stand bike up and wade into the gravel thankfully not that fast and mange to keep up right, manage to get out after sweating like a bastard for 5 mins. Anyway back on track and getting back up to speed penultimate corner arrives and I'm still thinking about the gravel and shit all over my tyres as I start going round the corner a bit quick, panic mode sets ........ I'm back in the gavel , once again struggle like bugger and sweating like a gypo with a mortgage I manage to get back out, next corner is very slow and back into the pits to remove half a tonne of stones from the belly pan. So 2 trips to the kitty litter on 1 lap.
That's a bold choice, but after the initial shock, you will not regret it . @cookster The final turn has a huge gravel trap that welcomes new arrivals.....
Ok, proper Carlsberg holiday just done… 3 days at Jerez followed by an amazing 3 days off roading in the Algarve and finally the MotoGP at Portimao. Lots of drinking and childish silliness along the way… natch…
