Walked from Staithes to Runswick Bay and back, 6 or 7 miles, weather was stunning at lunchtime, a bit iffy after that.
Finally got all our kit unpacked and put away today after arriving home at 9pm last night having finished day 2 of BSB testing and left Silverstone at about 6:30pm. Don’t let anyone fool you into believing it’s a doddle waving a few flags or picking up the occasional crashed bike and rider. Testing is full on, 7am sign on, at your post from 8:30am until 5pm, 9 sessions of between 40 and 60 minutes each, a day, 5 minutes between each session and if there have been no stoppages, you might get 30 minutes to eat your packed lunch, in all weathers. The strength of the wind blowing from Maggots to Copse yesterday, snapped my flag stick Still, awesome 2 days, lots of track time, very much thrown into the action at the deep end for our first event but looking forward to the real thing at Round 1. Washed up, clothes wash dry, vacuumed round the house and answered the door to numerous parcel deliveries Took my lads MX5 to get some quotes for the corrosion around the suspension mountings not a surprise given the reputation they have for this problem. Not as much as I’d budgeted for I had a feeling that I’d need to sell it for parts. Reported my debit card missing now penniless for a couple of days.
After months contemplating, I finally pulled trigger and bought an akrapovic manifold, now I've got to find the silencers talk about doing things backward, and slowly.
Apparently so… GB News is a politically right entertainment based television channel in the United Kingdom. It started on 13 June 2021 on Freeview, Sky, YouView, Freesat and Virgin Media. Although it is on British television, GB News is neither owned nor funded by British sources. Sounds a bit dodgy to me.
