Lol dont blame you mate. Ill be interested to see how quickly that one goes though, priced as it is. Might have to start extending the budget if the current trend carries on.
Honestly mate, as you know I bought my 899 a month or so ago, I just had the feeling that £10500 bikes were going to be £11500-12k bikes in 6 months time. I know some don't get it, but for me the 899 is just so special, like yourself, others out there must feel the same as me because the values are deffo going up
I thought that one had nearer 8k miles but you could be right , ive bought off cubo moto before an although theyre a typical dealer full of BS if you have the cash and want a quick shake of the hands, their bikes always seem to arrive well presented.
Only use it for the specific bike pages, about the only person I interact with works for Aston Martins F1 team and funnily enough only lives 100 yards from me.
Am I being paranoid here? Why would you “prefer to ride without a number plate” unless it’s a track bike or you have a very good relationship with the local constabulary? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/32560247...bRsZBlySnu&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I’d be out based on those winglets, price is low on account of the CatN. I’d be looking for photos pre damage seems a lot of bike to write off for just a lock? I’d want to check the lock stops and if he buys 2 service kits per go he’d have more than one in his possession? I’d talk direct to him and see what he reveals without him thinking long and hard about your questions. For me it’s iffy and I wouldn’t risk it for the saving. They’re obviously able to do big K’s as Pouchers is 30k on the clock. Who needs a reg plate on a track…..I not saying that track bikes aren’t worth buying if everything is in order. Looks like he’s selling his track weekend caravan too……
The annoying thing is it’s about the right (realistic) price for it, it’s just not as described or at best a very poor ad.
Some people and I include myself in this aren’t very good at expressing what they want to say in ‘print’ in an advert. If you don’t sell very often it’s difficult, he may expect the price alone will sell it. The CAT N wouldn’t bother me, it’s just I’d inspect the stop locks, check the fairings are genuine. At least it doesn’t have the usual 2 lines but could be improved on, I’d contact him for a chin wag. The CAT N wouldn’t bother me, it’s just I’d inspect the stop locks etc.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/15549598...OEC6vTLQvK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY A little over your desired mileage and minus the Termi’s but unmolested.
This is the one that’s seriously tempting me rn. Might have to put the termis on hold for this little gem
its a goodun, pretty sure if you go see it you'll forget the termis in a heartbeat, no one slags the standard pipe off, still sounds good it will sell straight away, id phone first thing
