Odd one, but the new rear sprocket I've ordered has a sleeve bushing what looks to have been press fitted in? Anyone seen this before? I ordered the kit from a reputable site and its been a while since I've done a sprocket change on a bike so maybe it's me

Are you sure? The old sprocket didn't have one and in the end I removed the shim which then allowed the carrier to fit nice and snug. So yea... Anyway, jobs done, now to torque everything up, give it a good clean (previous owner clearly never cleaned the front sprocket housing either... My god the amount of gunk, it was almost up to the chain) and go for a test ride tomorrow.
