Went to hospital today for my regular CT scan.I will get the result from my oncologist at the end of the month and of course keeping my fingers crossed.
Taxed the 899 this month so seeing as the sun was beating down today,..9c .. I thought I’d have a little blast out this afternoon to get my eye back in with the little red ballerina, not ridden her since September last year ! Needed a commemorative pic to send to a young mate who still has to go to Day prison ( work in other words ) it always annoys him when he’s at work and I’m out on the bike, he always comes back with the same one word answer…..”Bastard!!” …makes the ride so much more enjoyable! This seemed like an appropriate place for a piccy…. I’d forgotten what a brilliant ride this little bike is, absolutely love it And the sunlight was glinting off the carbon bits, think I’m done adding bits to it now New chain and sprockets look the bizzo! After about 30 minutes I felt like we’d bonded again, looking forward to more rides when the weather warms up P.S. fingers crossed for good news for you @ariel ..the waiting is the worst
Back to the same property that i was at two odd years ago with a Plumbing job, and the mini's still sitting there in the same position in a very poor state...........i've made enquiries, but could be a money pit.
Didn’t you fix it the first visit and they’ve waited this long FFS. Panoramic roof is a known trouble spot have issues, what else is wrong with it?
i changed my pads a couple of months ago, 170 knicker for new EBC ones and frankly im shocked at the improvement, so sharp, reckon i could endo at a ton done about 500 miles on them so they are proper bedded in
£170 for pads!!!!!!!!, so so happy I get the maximum from mine by turning them round once I’ve got down to the metal on the first side.
Clients just love me. First thing first, it's an automatic, brake discs are very rusty so a possible changeover at extra expenses, maybe a gearbox issue. they've been offered £200 and rejected it.
Popped in to a Porsche specialist based around Redditch. Need to get a couple of things done and check all good to move the car from garage queen to daily driver So booked in for misfire (coils likely), intermittent limp home gear box (selector probably or sensor) and include nice fresh oil & filter as it will be original no doubt, check out the odd electrical issues that is likely to be related to a worn imagination part (already bought part as common fault) and recalibrate the clocks, and general check over. I knew mine was early, if vin is done as it rolls off the factory line mine is inside 1500, and although porches OPC couldn’t find my car (!) on their system he did. Common issue, j think ducati the same, of adding a 2 where should be a Z on he system. Turns out my early car is a very early 1997. Happy days
First thing I decided to re-stain one of my leather sofas that had faded from the sun. Got to say it looks as good as new. I then set up my new echo dot for the bedroom, did some ironing and charged up all my bike bits so I can get out early doors tomorrow to take the Scrambler to Ducati Manchester for its annual service.
Oh and went into the office for first time in 6 months. Amazingly, the A46 Tewkesbury has totally changed since I least drove it. New road layout open, dobbies open on new reayole park, loads of new houses now finished.
