Not ebay, but always really fancied a phant. Not sure if the paso engine is a plus or minus and I'd have to wrap it in some lairy Dakar colour scheme

I wouldn't be too worried about a dent, as you know it's corrosion that kills them, or makes them difficult/expensive to revive.

 

What are the 2 holes in the front of the tank for?

AFAIK the Paso engine is just an air cooled 750SS, please don’t I like that understated Blue if I had the room I’d be very interested in it wanted an Elefant since way back.

 

I'd have to offload my superlight to fit it in, think it be a good rider.

 

I could probably do you a favour there, if I move some stuff around and tidy up a bit I could store the Superlight at mine. Only taking it out on very sunny days, I’ll even put the fuel in too.

Sometimes you've to push the envelope out and experiment with other brands.

 

It isn’t the brand it’s the GS range to be honest bud, but I don’t particularly like that model. I mostly like all the Ducati with 1 exception, no not the 749/999 iteration.

 

One day the 999 will be one of the most sought after collector models imo... Misunderstood from the outset.

 

I actually like the 999 better than the 916, it certainly broke the mould.
