I got told there wouldn't be many in the 2013 colours but there's about 5 on this forum now so I'm not feeling as exclusive as I would like. Did ducati make an 1198 corse?
None are really exclusive as they're not a limited number production run. They did do the 1198 in corse colours. Think it was the SP.
Not that I am much of an expert, but I only know of 3 in the whole of Scotland. I've only seen one other 2013 on the road and that's because I arranged to meet the guy who owns it. Ducati Glasgow told me (just chatting informally) that the 2013 Corse models were becoming very hard to get hold of and they didn't know how many or how long it would take to get one. This was back in about April this year so no idea if that lasted for long or what. As far as exclusivity goes, it appears that they are right up there. They might not be an SPS / R model or have a plaque on the headstock, but there sure aren't many around. Have definitely seen more 2012s than 2013s but still only about 4 of them. I love mine more and more every time I see it / ride it. Even a quick run into town to see my brother last night (5 miles each way) and I was loving it. Andy
Ditto, loving mine too. Have had it 10 days and done 580 miles now so first service next week! Will definitely need some louder pipes at some point though....
2012 one: Ducati 2013: Ducati Hard to see much difference. I assume 2012 had quick shifter, traction control etc. 2013 has the bigger tank at 18 litres....
Well I never knew that. And from having the samller tanked version I agree it makes a huge difference.
