  2. Yes I can see what you mean. It doesn't have the original screen unfortunately so maybe I'll keep an eye out for one, it doesn't look too bad in the flesh. I'll probably tweak the bike slightly anyway with cans and carbon front and retain the originals anyway. Someone recently spent a considerable amount on restoration as mentioned but while keeping it usable, roll on the summer months!

  3. Another couple of quick questions if poss-
What tyre pressures do people actually use?
Any recommendations for future servicing on the belts and is it still 2yrs regardless? South Yorkshire area, I used to go to cornerspeed previously

  4. I’ve used Cornerspeed wouldn’t go elsewhere, Baines Racing did work on my 851 back in the 90’s. They were also very good but I can’t comment on anything about them recently.

  5. I think you'll find belts are every two years regardless.

I had good experience with Cornerspeed, albeit a few years back.

  8. That's the problem with these things over the years when ownership changes, items get altered and lost forever. So when you do find an original untouched one, it's worth hanging on too.

  9. A guy call Fred Jean on the Ducati 851 888 facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/438986872858183) was remaking them with the Elefant logo and I bought a couple from him. Good price and they fit nicely.

Join the group and hunt Fred down.
