Recommend Films To Watch, Or Perhaps, Not!

  1. I find it fascinating actually & have read much on it over the years, some of which I even came close to understanding!
Once you can see that an infinite universe has to start repeating at some point, you have to pick God or the multiverse-that moment in time was (for me), about as mind blown as I’ve ever been.

Still not sure which side I come down on though o_O

  2. Me too. It's just very complicated indeed and the thought experiment rabbit holes you end up going down are mind-boggling.

  11. Watched Dungeons and Dragons; Honour Among Thieves this afternoon. Enjoyable way to pass a couple of hours, more than a few lol's in the cinema, particularly during the talking to the dead scenes.

  12. "I Give it a Year" - Absolute shite.
Sometimes one has to take one for the team and let the lady of the house choose...

  13. "I give it a year" = I give it a millenium

  14. Operation Fortune, (Amazon Prime) latest Guy Richie offering with Jason Statham doing what he does and Hugh Grant doing what he seems to do now which is a slightly camp Cockney gangster. Not as good as The Gentlemen but entertaining for a couple hours.

  15. Menu
    Boiling Point

both the above good if you like food films. The latter is outstanding for so many reasons.

  16. The woman in black (2012 version).

  17. If you enjoyed Gleeson in The Banshees of Inisherin then try these, they all have a certian level of humour, but do contain varying amounts of gratuatious violence ...

    Perrier's Bounty
    The Guard
    In Bruges

  18. I like offbeat films the best. Coen brothers type stuff. I am a huge Ealing comedy fan and offbeat films remind me of them. The last one I really enjoyed, a few years back, was Little Miss Sunshine. I loved that film.

Anything with Alistair Sim in it will do for me.
