I'm looking at getting a new chain for my v2 is it 520 or 525 chain I should get its going on oem sprocket
Google says 525, I know but I’m bored waiting for a shop to open to place an order over the phone just so 80’s. This looks reassuringly expensive and very Gucci. https://chainsandsprockets.co.uk/pr...r0fZRBIuwHqvz09vLJf-yEEWjegqxWFhoCYycQAvD_BwE
Don't buy an OEM one whatever you do, go for a DID Gold, somewhere like Bike HPS or Reactiveparts or something I would think.
I forgot the link in my post https://chainsandsprockets.co.uk/pr...r0fZRBIuwHqvz09vLJf-yEEWjegqxWFhoCYycQAvD_BwE
No, that’s what my search bought up based on a Google search for a 2022 v2 streetfighter it may be different for the earlier version 848. However I’ve just realised that you are only changing the chain, not sure I’ve ever changed just a chain?
Well I would like to get a rear sprocket kit but they come on different options on @Conquest Racing Ltd a road 520 and race 525 and another one at 525 if I remember right, so if I just change that and get a chain what is the front sprocket oem, us that 525 or 520, the panigale is 520, and there is a kit you can get oem chain and sprocket and looking at what other bikes that fits it says streetfighter v2. Basically I just want a definitive answer as I'm not too sure what I'm doing myself lol Unless I just change everything which seems a little drastic considering it's just my chain that's doing my head in, its only got to look at water and it's rusty.
a 525 will NOT fit on 520 sprockets, absolutely not, the tooth pitch changes with the gauge of the chain also
