Had a ride to Motolegends today. After a bit of a wait in the comfy waiting room & a coffee I got served by Chris (Chap in a cap) in store. I wasn’t expecting the personal service that Motolegends offer and have to say if you’re after great product knowledge or have a specific sizing requirement they are worth a visit ( near Guildford). Bought a pair of Klim Outlander GTX boots for riding my Multistrada
They’re a good bunch there, but the waiting room concept can be a pain in the arse if there’s a few people already waiting.
I had a thousand advisories and ignored them all Spain Saturday with the gang, so now the bike is all shipshape I'm looking forward to it. Now, tank bag, or no tank bag...
After 25 years of ownership of Ducatis finally got round to making a crank turning tool Now to replace the belts on my 1098
I’m going to collect the panniers for the Multistrada when Ducati Manchester redeliver a friends bike back to Peterlee. Then they’ll be going straight in the garage.
Saturday ride down to the land of the posh, sail Sunday, land Monday and back weds following week, so about ten days, but if I meet a suitable candidate to marry and acquire a visa, maybe longer
Rolled the bike out with good intentions of going to Bournemouth Ducati’s open day, then it started raining, rolled it back in the garage and got on with decorating the kitchen
R6, Multistrada and kit, packed onto a stillage, loaded onto a curtain sider and currently enroute to Circuito de Almeria. Andy
Connect it to the bike’s dash before going anywhere near Ducati Connect, but make sure it’s not already paired with your phone or something else, if it is delete that connection.
Ordered a set of Michelin Road 6s for the Multistrada. Always replacing tyres before a tour with mileage remaining but never seems enough to warrant putting them back on afterwards... That's despite having my own tyre fitting kit. Might vow to try and do it this time around... fat chance of that really happening though...
