Is This The Bike We Were All Confused About In The Ebay Thread? Sps

  1. Just stumbled on this:

is this the same bike that we were all commenting on in the eBay thread and couldn’t believe how much the bidding was going up to? The 748sps.

Will be interesting to see how much work it needs, looks like a lot

  4. TBF, it looked AWFUL in the ebay add (assuming it's the same one) and it looked awful in the vid at the start but with just a really good wash and de-grease it's mad how much it cleaned up.

It’s a great channel that by the way.

  11. The only thing I wondered is how the hell he got those discs to clean up like that?!

  12. Yes there were a few gaps for instance the chain, swingarm and engine block all got some treatment.
I’d have gone for new features ace but he just have scrubbed them up somehow.

  13. Yeah love this guys channel. It's always easy to sit there watching and be hyper critical about "ohhh i wouldn't have done it like this/that", and I'm the worlds worst (like I'm some kind of spannering god, tut), but very rarely (ever?) do i cringe when watching his restos. Unlike a lot of our friends from across the pond, he doesn't use over-powered power tools for every. Single. F****ng. Thing. Good old hands tools with feel and proper torque wrenching.

Did get the impression he was a little miffed at not being let off the leash completely by the owner (someone on here?), but fair enough, we all know how these projects can run away £££'s.

Bike looked absolutely fantastic afterwards. Would be fascinating to know what that bike cost the owner and how much he paid our YT chap for his work.

God i need a vapour blaster in my life. Lol. And some painting skills/facilities.
