Definitely don't polish it! All I do is rinse then clean with muckoff and hot water rinse and dry. Looks like new. Cans get cleaned with wd40.
Thats what I thought you had to do. I remember reading a thread a while back with someone who had the dark 848 asking about how to clean it....
