  1. Bargain ? For a bike that has been “a stablemate of a collection”, the amount of corrosion is not a good sign. Andy

  2. IMO, I don’t think the Panigale V4 Speciale was/is or will be a “collector’s” bike. With a slightly different paint job, Rizoma tat, and a numbered top yoke, it’s just not “special” enough. And being pedantic, the seller wouldn’t have paid £43K for it if bought new from a dealer because it isn’t a Magnesio. Specifying the Marchesini magnesium alloy wheels is what took the rrp to £43k. 3. ^ interesting to see how the "still in crate" bike has lighter colour bands on the centre of both tyres - that must have been before loading at the factory mustn't it. :)

  4. Probably :D Tried to find where I posted photos of mine in the crate to compare but failed miserably. Andy

  5. I'm not sure it's genuine or not, bikes in collections without mot's for many years not on the road can be manipulated.

  6. That's why i flag them up for the folks, any comments good or bad are welcomed.

  7. A quick search for ‘Panigale in crate’ shows crates being opened in dealers with same tyre markings, so quite possibly the the more upmarket genuine factory ‘Borgo dirt’.
Still not sure why the chap is reloading the cardboard box into the crate though?
Not sure if the £40k is realistic though, time will tell…….
