I don’t know about motorbikes but I wish I’d kept all my pushbikes, I could have probably retired on that lot now! Redline, Hutch, Mongoose, VDC, Rickman but back to motorbikes, I would have liked a KR1-S, had a chance to buy a minter recently but know the first time I rode it I’d shit myself into the first corner and would never get on it again It wouldn’t be very quick, handle like a pram and stop like an oil tanker, think sometimes these bikes are best kept as dreams?

Well, when we were “yoofs” I had 2 350 LCs and my mate bought a 500 (I bought his 350 which is why I had 2) the 500 was awesome and way better than the 350 IMO I did like my 350 YPVS tho, that bike I should’ve kept
Well, I can’t speak for your mate, and I’m not sure your mate let you have a go on his, but the one I had, from new, wasn’t that brilliant. If you went any distance your thighs and testicles cooked from the exhausts, it ate (expensive) spark plugs, stood up under breaking and would tank slap at the drop of a hat, severely.

Kawasaki Z1300, Honda CBX, Benelli Sei. But that was a long time ago. Now? Never scratched the Desmo itch. V4R maybe. Saw one of those Hondas with the oval pistons at Donington. Now that was a thing of beauty. The finish was beautiful * NR750- just googled it. Gorgeous in the flesh…
He did let me have a go and yes had a tank slipper when I hit a cats eye, that added to the excitement
