  2. Thanks for asking.
Still not 100%, but getting there now. Been seeing a great new physio and having dry needle therapy, freaky, but effective.
Also, gone back to flats, as I can move about a bit more, tbh, I'll probably stick with them.
I also suddenly developed a neck and upper back issue, which he's sorting for me. The result of years of employment as an office monkey has caught up with me I suspect.

  3. A nice pedal tonight, does the wind ever stop?

  7. . Small delay in update due to annoying bout of man-flu…

  8. Out again just now on the damp roads while it’s quiet, well I say quiet, I was bumbling along a lane, tree lined, when THUD….something hit me on the head…instant thought, deadwood from the trees.I looked up and saw a rather large bird ascending from me….unusual thinks I, birds don’t usually bump into cyclists…then it suddenly dawned on me…I had been attacked !big unit, yellow hooked beak….. not into birds but lot bigger than a kestrel….some kind of falcon maybe…ffs take care folks,it’s dangerous our there big shout out to specialised for the helmet protection!!

  9. Pissing down here again!
You should check Cyclist Magpie attacks in Oz on YouTube.

  10. Not sure in your case given it’s cloudy and pissing down all day here but some birds react to iridium sunnies, they see you as a threat in them or some such.

  11. No sunnies on , helmet is a red white and black colour scheme, nor sure what triggered the engagement….there is lots of me so maybe just hungry !

  12. Hopefully the Lycra was matching, if not that might have been the trigger?

  15. I know people say it's nests nearby and territorial stuff , but sometimes they just decide to have a go don't they (generalising)? That nutty bird in a car park somewhere in England that got shown in the media at the time comes to mind.

  16. C’mon Chris you know it’ll be the non matching clothing that’s the trigger, it triggers me when I’m out and about for sure.
Aren’t all birds nutty, was it her husband that triggered her or a road rage incident?

  17. Guilty as charged sir ! Not really matching on the Lycra front, only a touch of red and wearing grey and black windproof jacket….. that’s me reported to the fashion police then
