Yes and no as it's at the bottom of the garden, so maybe hardwork back upto the summit for tired out legs like mine.
They're fun little cars MX5's. I really enjoyed mine in Mexico, ideal car for sunshine life. Bulletproof too.
It is and round Shropshire/Welsh back roads is a pretty sweet handling car, it’s not my car as such. My lad was looking to buy a car to learn to drive in and rather than the usual boring car decided that the MX5 was his choice. Just a 1600 a NB though cost £1600 British Racing Green and for added back to the 60’s it’s got a radio/cassette/cd player. Once he’s past his test he’s considering trackdays in it as he can’t afford both bike and car insurance unless his part time job suddenly decides to at least double his £4 a hour rate. In the mean time if we go anywhere together it’s in the MX5.
Yesterday now but so what, the Ducati Owners (Ireland) had a weekend away trip to Connemara so we were blatting around the traffic free and unpoliced roads of the west for our #WeRideAsOne day
Blueish sky beautiful scenery only spoilt by a sneaky Aprilia not parked in formation either such a contrarian …….
Mine was an NA, somewhat lighter with flip up headlights and bright red. It was the only two seater convertible in Playa del Carmen. As I recall, linking my ipod to the stereo required using a "cassette" which had a lead that plugged into the headphone socket...
I like the NA but they’re very strong money at about 4K plus, lad I know bare-shell renovated his it’s a lovely little car. Yes my daughter has a similar Bluetooth device which does the same task https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/39452903...aZMttNqPTnDkF9ss8OceUD8ik=|tkp:BlBMUObNi9H-YQ I bought a cheap android device compatible system for £39 off eBay which was recommended on the mx5 page. I’ve yet to fit it as I’m waiting for a facia surround to arrive. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/364205919585?hash=item54cc5d4d61:g:5FcAAOSwPO1kK~sM
I've an idea that I'll buy a similar one that will replace my round speedo in the Mini. I'm following a few threads by people who've installed them as a test -they're £300 so I want to be sure its worthwhile.
Just spent 20min trimming and strimming my new build postage stamp ‘garden’…. Ready for the dogs to rip it up doing laps chasing each other in square circles with chunks of turf flying around
I went to the Mini show Himley Hall. Lots of old used parts, and probably ten stands selling toy cars. Thinking about it, I'm not sure what I expected but it wasn't that! If you've ever been to Stafford classic bike show, it was similar with Minis instead of Triumphs & without the crowds. You didn't miss anything!
