A big hello to you all,and as the title states.... Forgive me,as its taken an absolute age to get here,as I have probably owned every other well known brand of bike,but never a Ducati....... So I thought id take the plunge after getting my fingers well and truly burnt from a brand new Superduke R in January. As with only 1k on the clock,the damn bike would just love a limp mode,and even with all the viagra in the world,I doubt this would cure it.... So have now off loaded the Duke and put a deposit on a streetfighter SP2....... Just needs to be built,so fingers crossed for July..... Bring on the summer !!!
welcome. mate of mine had similar KTM 'non start' issues; broke down twice on our french trip. he came back and swopped it for a streetfighter too.........though last year's SP1
Really appreciate the warm welcome all...... Will be lurking behind the scenes until bike day,and I think I now know the drill of post a pic with a bin in the shot lol Watch this space........
Defo ongoing reliability issues,which is a shame,as was my 2nd SDR....... But I'm off for a 16 day jaunt to Bosnia in 4 weeks time,and made the impulsive decision the bike is a lemon,and I need to get rid asap. That said,I'm borrowing a mates SDR for the trip,so fingers crossed lol
