The first of many Panigale questions

  1. I was over in the Midlands today so bobbed into Ducati Coventry, and picked up the JHP push in (ok hammer in) spindle sliders, I really do like them. When fitted I reckon they might even look like they are supposed to be there, unlike the R&G ones.

The lads also gave a copy of the Performance catalogue; I have a funny feeling my kids inheritance is going to take another pounding. Anyone know if the pages are wipe clean?

  2. The Upmap is an update to the ECU and especially the quickshifter.
You will notice a difference as the Q/S shifts much quicker ans smooter.

If you haven`t done the sprocket update yet do it.....you`ll love it

  3. Yes their fork protectors are the dogs, plus you don't need to (or cannot as you found out battering them in) take them off like R&G items first, good lads at JHP

  4. Freak they are sat on the dining room table winking at me and not just fitted yet, my Pani won’t be delivered until the 2nd February so I have to ‘put up’ with just my Fireblade until then. I am just going on what the guys at JHP said. ie slacken the bolts and push them in, ok hammer the buggers in. If I have one other comment it would be why don’t they make the dome the same size for both sides, or am I just being a bit anal.

  5. One end of the spindle is a smaller internal diameter, it'll be obvious when you get the bike

  6. This is the second upmap I have, and the change is smoother, I just put it down to the way I ride! Bother!.

I do wonder though why they only do this with the sprocket change?
