  2. Search away. Loads of talk about these tyres. In short excellent choice but loads of previous topics to read.

  3. You'll find loads of people use them on Multi's I did great tyre

  4. But in short... go for it, you won't regret... they are wonderful.

  5. I'm getting some Pirelli Angel GT's, they're supposed to be the best

  6. Just ordered a 3rd set of PR3's for the Multi. Only way to go..

  7. How long are they lasting?

  8. About 5000 miles, but I do between 1500-2000 in the Scottish Highland on the harsher surfaces. I would say they are well ised. So in normal use I would guess between 6500-8000.

  9. That's good.

  10. I got 6k out of my pair of PR3s. I wouldn't bother having them again, having now tried Z8 Interacts.

  11. Anyone tried the Pirelli Angel GT's?

  12. Got just over 2k miles and a two up Alps trip under my belt with the PR3s now. Very good, no obvious signs of wear other than being well scrubbed in. IMO the PR2s have a bit more feel, esp from the front in the dry ( though they are supposed to be discontinued in the near future). All in though a very good tyre with superb wet grip (read torrential rain!) that lasts well. If the Scorpions had lasted/worn better I would have been happy with them again but they went off rather rapidly around the 2k mark.
I could be tempted by something a bit more sporty next time and sacrifice some wet weather performance but as a touring tyre the 3s are un surpassed..

  13. Changed to PR3's when I got a puncture at 1900 miles on the Rear Scorpions, the tyres are fantastic, I can't get the most out of them, they stick longer than I do, commfortable too.

  14. After running pirelli rosso 2s for 16000 miles have just put a set of PR3s on for a long euro jaunt.
Aint tested the grip or longevity heavily yet, but I feel they have made the bike more twitchy and
definitely more unstable at autobahn cruising speeds. I wont be using them again.

  15. I've recently fitted Pirelli Angel GT's and just returned from 10 day trip to France with a pillion. They have been superb so far, and show little signs of any wear after 1500 miles.
I'm off to the Alps at the end of August with the lads so will be able to comment more fully after a they've had a full workout. So far no complaints.

  16. Got the Pr3's fitted to my Hayabusa. Probably one of the most confidence inspiring tyre I have ever used. I like to kick out the back end at times in the wet but haven't managed it yet with the Pr3's in summary bloody awesome.

  17. Yes. Worn out Scorps changed at 3,500 miles for PR3s. I have done 3,000 miles on them and they are showing few signs of wear. Haven't used them in the wet yet but they seem good in the dry - though traction control has kicked in twice.

  18. I did 2,600 miles round France on them two up with luggage and couldn't fault them. What pressures are you using?

  19. I know this is a bit of a "how long is a piece of string" type question, but I had PR3s on my MTS1200when I got it a few months ago and I've got a trip next month which will be about 2200 miles in France and I'm wondering how much tread depth I should be seeing as a minimum to avoid swapping them before I go.
What tread depth do they have when new?

  20. Pilot Road 4 coming in early 2014. ;-) All other Pilot Road range is still in production.
