Swapping out my front discs and all but 1 of the bolts came out with gentle persuasion. This one unfortunately is goosed. Hopefully it can be removed with some alternative means but it will need replaced and I’m trying to search out a speedy replacement. My measuring and research indicates it’s M8x20, with the head being approx 5mm - (described as low height?.) Stein Dinse seemed to have these in stock so I’ve placed an order for a few plus a couple of other items to make it a worthwhile order but it could take a good few days to arrive. Where else with quick delivery is recommended for suitable bolts? I think keyfast and wemoto are likely candidates but I can’t spot the exact type on their websites so could send them a query. I’m not aware of anyone local I can drop into to show them a bolt to match up to (Edinburgh area). Thanks in advance.
That’s a very kind offer. Going by experience the Stein Dinse ones should arrive during the week, just unfortunate that todays weather, here at least, looks like a perfect biking day and mine’s sat with its front wheel off and a knackered disk bolt, ho hum .
when I replaced mine I got them from local Ducati dealer prices were not to bad try warming up the bolt with a heat gun should loosen of the thread lock and allow the bolt to come undone easier
